Noise on earth is not necessary. Silent action is a MUST. 1 Corinthians 4:20. For the kingdom of God isnot in word, but in power. (Some verses read: Not only in word, but also in power) We need to realize that words spoken without the power, are simply ‘words’. Words that are made up from our human thoughts: Yes, only words spoken by the original bodies designed by our creator. Power is from on high puts a much different meaning to that concept.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Christ has given his people that power ‘blended into’ the ability he gave us humans to speak. When those who have gotten both ‘words and power’ from the Holy Spirit, God’s voice is behind the spoken thought. It has the power to: Bless, save, heal, change life’s, preform miracles, then Jesus spoke these words:
John 14:12-14 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
What are we to do, if we are called, destined to go abroad and teach the Gospel? This is a major question. Some have confusion when someone wants an answer, due to the fact that yearn to go overseas, and get started. (Lets hurry up). The answer is fairly simple, but absolutely required. Psalms 27:14 – Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. All I know for sure is: Wait on the Lord.
Psalm 27 (KJV) 27 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon meto eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
We must understand that we are in Gods war with Saten. God is in control. God is our source in war and in Peace. We know not what to do–however, He promised that he would never leave us, nor forsake us. He is Lord of Lords, King of Kings, and master of the Universe (Our Captain and guide). Example: The disciples were on a boat, with Jesus.A huge storm came up, making waves all around that small boat. Jesus was asleep in the lower section of the boat.
The disciples were very afraid of going down with the raging waves–they called out to Jesus saying “Lord, are you letting us drown as the boat sinks? Jesus awoke and said: Oh ye of little faith-and rebuked the storm, and the wind calmed. NOW, this is a lesson for us today also. You see, Jesus died on that old rugged cross-then our Father took him back into his Glory and set him on his right side, giving power of all things on earth and the Universe.
So, now he abides in our hearts when we invite him in, and continues his miraculous life-here on earth.
